Details
The Manger Project is a one-of-a-kind Christmas tradition that helps families focus on the true meaning of Christmas while building a wooden manger.
This hands-on experience gives parents a chance to teach their kids hard work, perseverance and most importantly, why the manger (God coming to earth as a baby) is so important to their faith.
Your family is invited to join us on Friday, December 12 to build your own manger, what will become a centerpiece for all your Christmas' to come. You can use it as an outside display to show your neighbors the true meaning of Christmas, use it to hold food or toy donations that you collect throughout the year to give to those less fortunate, or use it to gather around Christmas morning as you begin the day reading the Christmas story from the Bible.
If you already have a manger you are welcome to join us and make another one, one to possibly give away as you share the true meaning of Christmas with friends or family.
During this event your family will receive all the materials needed to assemble this manger, aside from a hammer. Please bring your own. You will work together through the detailed directions while help is just a shout away. When you grow hungry and need a break you can join other families in the fellowship hall for pizza and cookies.
Reservations are required so sign up today!
